A Local Gift Guide (updated 2024)
Checking off your Christmas gift list can feel like a chore, and sometimes a bore. With these creative Christmas shopping ideas for your loved ones, you are bound to feel inspired with your gift-giving this holiday season. From funky and quirky, to feminine or modern, to cozy or even tasty, enjoy this list of local gifts ideas in Valencia, Spain.
All of the brick and mortar shops below are located in Ruzafa, which makes for a fun afternoon of shopping local in Valencia. If you are looking for shops outside of the Ruzafa neighborhood, check out the seasonal Christmas markets in Plaza de la Reina, Mercado de Tapineria, and the City of Arts and Sciences. Or check out the local artists and creators featuring their products at the “Vecinos Winter Market” at Perenne Home. Lots of beautiful handmade and local collections to shop!
My favorite local shops in Ruzafa
Cute and Feminine– Check out Flor de Luna dried flower shop in Ruzafa for pretty and feminine gift ideas. From dried flower bouquets, to moon-inspired home decor, you will fall in love with the colors and unique creations in this shop. Connect with Jessica on Instagram to place an order or arrange a visit to the shop. (Update, Jessica is currently on maternity leave, but is still offering some amazing holiday workshops to make your own Christmas wreath. Check it out or gift a workshop to a friend!).
New In! Check out the gorgeous yoga mats bags, now available through Flor de Luna. Choose from four different color patterns. Use the code “yogawithjennison” at checkout to receive a free mini dried flower bouquet with your purchase. A perfect gift for the yoga lover in your life.

Natural decor and accessories, featuring local artisans– Muza Concept Shop is my one-stop shop for all gift giving. Natural candles and soaps, jewelry, ceramics, loose leaf tea and more!

Funky and Creative– Gnomo is one of my go-to stores for gifts any time of the year. Also located in Ruzafa, this store has a little something for everyone. From funky jewelry, to unique home decor, to local art, Gnomo is bound to help you stuff those stockings this season.

Tasty and Local– The Espanista is one of my favorite shops to peruse. Stocked with local craft beers, yummy vermouths and funky wines, this store has my heart. You are bound to find the perfect hostess gift for your next holiday party. Go check it out for yourself to discover other tasty treasures as well as local artwork, books and special gift-giving ideas.
